I am Hanna Stephenson - your compassionate guide, facilitator and creator of Dreaming Body.
I offer a holistic approach to wellness, combining trauma-informed yoga, somatic and nervous system coaching, hypnotherapy, past life regression, and intuitive healing methods.
I support individuals to de-stress, reconnect with their bodies, and heal from self-limiting patterns.
Many of us grew up without the compassionate witnessing we needed to truly understand and hold our emotional experiences.
Without this we can struggle to recognise and interpret the messages our emotions are trying to communicate.
We can feel overwhelmed, like emotions are something to fear, or maybe we feel empty like something essential is missing.
Using trauma-informed somatic and nervous system approaches, I can support you to safely reconnect with the emotions stored in your body.
Together we'll open up to the wisdom held within your emotions, and build a relationship with yourself that's rooted in self-compassion and understanding.
Our nervous systems are always working to keep us safe, yet unprocessed stress, emotions, and trauma can keep us stuck in survival mode.
This can show up as feeling constantly on edge, easily stressed, or numb, disconnected, and shut down. Alternatively, we may be stuck in patterns of fawning and people pleasing.
Without tools to regulate our nervous systems, we may rely on coping mechanisms that offer temporary relief but don’t address the root causes.
The modalities I work with help reconnect you to a calm, centered state—your nervous system’s natural baseline.
This shift can be life-changing, especially if you’ve been in survival mode for a long time.

When stuck in survival mode, we often live by conditioned ideas of "success" that leave us feeling depleted and unfulfilled, even when we achieve external goals.
We may fall into self-sabotaging patterns that keep us from defining life on our own terms, or feel like we’re just going through the motions with a lingering sense of lack.
Searching for fulfillment externally can leave us feeling as if something is always missing.
I can support you to reconnect with long-forgotten parts of yourself that hold the keys to your unique path and purpose.
Together, we’ll address limiting beliefs and patterns, uncover their roots, and create a life that reflects your true self and authentic purpose.
I am passionate about cultivating safe spaces where individuals can process stuck emotions and stress, reconnect to the deep and potentially forgotten parts of themselves, and tap into their profound inner resources.
I believe when we have permission to do this, we can make contact with our own truth and wisdom, and embrace the inner healer and guide that exists within each of us.
From this place we can feel empowered to express our most authentic selves and reach our greatest potential in the world.
Hanna's serene and kind presence put me immediately at a peaceful inner quietude despite the sudden penetrating noise that occurred outside the unit I live in - the very moment the session began.
Hanna's gentle and melodic voice transported me into an inner safe space where it became possible to explore, release, and further integrate an early childhood multifaceted trauma...where intrusive noise and shouting in the household had caused me to shut down with fear and pain, haunting me with fear to express my innermost emotions.
In this session it became possible to softly 'give healing voice' to deeply repressed emotions; stuck in my throat and ears which had presented me with a variety of sensations and a chronic medical condition.
I truly feel that Hanna's warm presence and skilful guidance led me into a deeply healing space to gently touch and pacify an old wound – for which I am extremely grateful!"
Hanna created and held a warm, open, steady space in our session, where I could sense her presence and felt supported throughout.
She helped me develop a new and lovely resource.
Perhaps for the first time, I experienced ‘anchoring into the body’.
I have since used it on my way to work and it altered my mood brilliantly.
In the space Hanna held, I was able to access unfamiliar memories linked to the trigger I wanted to explore.
By bringing awareness and compassion to the memories and the associated sensations in my body, gently guided by Hanna, I had useful shifts in my understanding of myself and how my past has affected me.

Hanna was wonderful. She was very warm and flexible in her approach, I had a beautiful session with her .

We also focused on some long-term physical pain that I had and I had a beautiful release and softening in that area.

Hanna held space for me beautifully. She was effective, flowing, thoughtful and well connected.
I especially loved her body scan and exploration of the safe physical space in my body as well as the unsafe, painful spaces.
